Respect

With a strong pride for their Jamaican roots, Respect wanted to differentiate themselves from the the cannabis grown here in the US. They wanted to own the fact that they’re growing true Jamaican Ganja. With that in mind, I set out to create a brand that felt premium while leaning into the heritage of farming in Jamaica.

I took inspiration from vintage burlap bags used to export coffee, peas, and other crops and elevated it to feel more modern and high end. Along with the hand lettered wordmark, I created an ownable G icon to be used as a sort of trademark. When you see the G, you know you’re getting true Jamaican Ganja.
