Torch & Grain

Nothings beats handcrafted goods made in the USA and goods made by a lovely husband and wife team are even better. Torch & Grain creates beautiful rustic wood furniture and art pieces out of their shop in Griffin, Georgia. They needed a brand that had the same balance of rugged and refined found in their pieces. Together we came up with a fitting name an crafted and elegant brand around it.

The name Torch & Grain pays homage to the duo at the heart of the brand as well as the materials they work with. The Torch is the fiery red head who brings the designs to the table and the Grain is the rugged maker that brings the work to life. Most of their pieces are made with rough pine and finished with quick blackening of the torch to give a lived in rough aesthetic.

After coming up with the name, we decided to keep the logo simple and create a monogram of the initials to be paired with elegant typography. This maker’s mark can be found across various assets and stamped into every piece in their showroom.
